H.C. "GTU Shevarden" was founded in 1990. Our club is 17 times champion and 10 times owner of Georgian cup.
Since 1992 "GTU Shevarden" was regulary participating in Eurocup games.
Georgian Technical University does his best efforts in developing Georgian handball .

Chxartishvili.

Georgian national team of students in handball took perticipation in XVIII world championship of students in 2006, where team won silver medals. 12 participants of this great sucess in Georgian handball history where where students of Georgian Technical University or players of H.C. Sponsor of H.C. "GTU Shevarden" since 2007 is Telavi Munisipality, after that club has new name "GTU Shevardeni" Telavi.

H.C. "GTU Shevarden" Telavi has traning bases in Telavi and Tbilisi in Georgian Technical University with its own hotels.
